Our Doctors
Dr. Yong Larrazabal is the head ophthalmologist and laser eye surgeon of Cebu City's Larrazabal Eye. Our center is comprised of top ophthalmologists and optometrists in Cebu City (Dr. Yong is one of the top ophthalmologists and refractive surgeons in the Philippines), and we strive to provide excellence in all areas of eye care, including Lasik, CK®, cataract surgery, contact lenses, glasses, and more.

Yong Larrazabal MD DPBO MAHAD Dr. Larrazabal received his Medical Degree from Cebu Doctors' University where he also finished his undergraduate studies Magna Cumlaude. He received his Masteral Degree in Hospital Administration from the same University. He served his Internship at Charleston Area Medical Center - West Virginia University, USA and completed his Post Graduate Internship and Ophthalmology Residency Training at Philippine General Hospital - University of the Philippines. He placed 6th in the Diplomate Board Exams in Ophthalmology. He trained in Refractive Surgery at Johann Wolfgang University in Frankfurt, Germany and at Tan Tok Seng Hospital in Singapore and trained under Doctor Low Cze Hong of Asia Medic Eye Centre in Singapore and accredited by Refractec (Irvine, California) as the first authorized NearVision CK® provider for the Philippines and second only in Southeast Asia. He is Board certified by the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology since 1997. He is an active member of the Philippine and American Academy of Ophthalmology and is also a member of the Philippine, American and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology in Cebu Doctors' Univeristy and also the Corporate Secretary of the CebuDocGroup of Hospitals and University. He chairs the Cebu Cataract Foundation and the Run for Sight Foundation which were established to serve our indigent fellowmen in the community. He and his wife Donna, have made Cebu their home. They are the parents of three children, Ysabella "Belle", Potenciano "Cian" IV and Iñigo Renato "Gio". |

Mariano Ho III MD Dr. Ho earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Cebu Doctors' College of Medicine (1996-1999) and completed his Post-Graduate Internship in Chong Hua Hospital (1999-2000), Cebu City. He underwent an accredited three-year Residency Training Program in Ophthalmology (2003-2005) at Manila Doctors' Hospital in U.N. Avenue, Metro Manila where he served as the Senior Chief Resident of the Department of Ophthalmology. He became certified as a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology In 2006. Dr. Ho is currently a consultant ophthalmologist at LarrazabalEye in Mactan Doctors' Hospital (Lapu-Lapu City), North General Hospital (Talamban, Cebu), and South General Hospital (Naga, Cebu). He is happily married to Karleyna Martinne Serafica. They have a lovely daughter, Kyniska Bellize. |

Guiden B. Manalo OD Dr. Manalo obtained her primary and secondary education at Saint Anthony's College, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique. She earned her degree, Doctor of Optometry from Cebu Doctors' University and is licensed by the professional regulatory commission. Elna Amodia OD Dr. Amodia obtained her primary and secondary education at the University of San Carlos Girls High School.Cebu City. She received her Degree of Doctor of Optometry from Cebu Doctors' College and was licensed by the Professional Regularity Commission in 1985. She is a member of the Optometric Association of the Philippines (O.A.P.) and Cebu Optometric Society. Dr. Amodia is associated at LarrazabalEye at Cebu Doctors' University Hospital and is an instructor at Cebu Doctors' College of Optometry. Dynah Poniente - Pineda OD, RN The Clinic Coordinator of Larrazabal Eye Group, Dr. Poniente- Pineda is a Licensed Optometrist and a Registered Nurse by the Professional Regulatory Commission. She accomplished her degrees of Doctor of Optometry at Southwestern University of Cebu City and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of the Visayas- Gullas Medical Center, Banilad, Cebu City.
